Commercial Water Filtration Systems

EnviroH2O provides commercial water filtration systems for hospitals, government facilities, manufacturers, and other operations throughout DFW and North Texas, engineered to remove particulate and sediment that would otherwise reach and damage downstream treatment and process equipment.

What Commercial Filtration Does

Filtration is the physical removal of suspended solids from water. Depending on the application it may use depth media beds, cartridge or bag filters, or multiple stages sized for progressively finer particulate.

In a treatment train, filtration is usually the first line of defense. Sand, silt, rust, pipe scale, and biological debris carried in a municipal or well supply will shorten the life of softener valves, foul carbon beds, damage RO membranes, and plug small orifices in process equipment.

The right filtration approach depends on what is actually in the water, how much water the facility uses, and how much attention the system will realistically receive. EnviroH2O sizes filtration around all three.

APPLICATIONS

• Whole facility incoming water protection

• RO and DI pretreatment

• Boiler and cooling makeup water

• Process and rinse water

• Point-of-use protection for sensitive equipment

• Well water and variable supply conditioning

— PROBLEMS SOLVESD

What this addresses

Particulate and sediment

Suspended solids from source water or aging piping travel through the facility and settle where they cause damage

Valve and nozzle plugging

Established biofilm is harder to remove than it is to prevent through design and maintenance.

Premature membrane fouling

Unfiltered particulate shortens RO membrane life and drives up operating cost.

Pressure loss

Accumulated debris in piping and equipment reduces available flow and pressure at the point of use.

— HOW IT WORKS

From incoming water to point of use

01

Characterize the water

Identify particulate type, loading, and variability in the incoming supply.

02

Select the media or element

Choose depth media, cartridge, or bag filtration and the micron rating the downstream equipment requires.

03

Size for flow

Size vessels and elements for peak demand so pressure drop stays acceptable across the service interval.

04

Maintain

Backwash schedules, element changes, and differential pressure monitoring keep filtration effective.

— BENEFITS

What you get

Longer equipment life

Downstream media, membranes, resin, and process equipment stay cleaner and last longer.

Fewer interruptions

Plugged equipment and unexpected service calls become less frequent.

Stable operating conditions

Consistent pressure and flow at the point of use support consistent processes.

— SERVICE & MAINTENANCE

Support that continues after install

EnviroH2O supplies and changes filter elements and media, monitors differential pressure, and services control valves and backwash controllers as part of a scheduled maintenance program.

We can also evaluate existing filtration that is undersized, past its media life, or mismatched to the water it is treating.
