Why disinfection belongs in the treatment design
Membrane elements do the separation work in a reverse osmosis system. Their performance defines the water quality the system can produce, the energy it takes to produce it, and how much water goes to drain.
Membranes degrade in predictable ways. Fouling from particulate and organics, scaling from hardness and other precipitates, and chemical attack from oxidants each leave a signature in the operating data; rising differential pressure, declining permeate flow, or increasing salt passage.
Reading those signatures is what separates informed maintenance from parts replacement. EnviroH2O evaluates system data before recommending cleaning versus replacement, and looks upstream to fix the pretreatment problem that damaged the membranes in the first place.
